About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Accountive parent company website at accountive.ca. Accountive is operated by 724841 NB Ltd., a Canadian corporation based in New Brunswick. This policy does not cover our software products. Strata by Accountive, our browser extension for QuickBooks Online, has its own separate Privacy Policy at strata.accountive.ca/privacy.
Information We Collect on This Website
The accountive.ca website is primarily a static marketing presence. We do not use analytics, cookies, or other passive tracking technologies, and most pages collect no personal information.
The Contact page (/contact) is the exception: it includes a contact form you can use to send us a message. When you submit the form, the information you provide — your name, email address, company, and your message — is transmitted to our support inbox via our email service provider (Brevo) so we can respond to your inquiry. We use this information only to reply to your inquiry; it is not added to any marketing or mailing list.
Apart from the Contact page form, we do not have newsletter signups, launch-list signups, account creation, or user accounts of any kind on this site.
Analytics and Tracking
We do not use analytics services on accountive.ca. There is no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Cloudflare Insights, or any other analytics or tracking platform on this site. We do not know which pages you visit, how long you stay, or where you came from.
Cookies
Accountive does not set cookies on accountive.ca for tracking, analytics, advertising, or marketing purposes. We do not use cookie-based identification of public website visitors.
Third-Party Content
We do not embed third-party content on accountive.ca. There are no YouTube or Vimeo videos, no social media widgets, no Google Fonts loaded from external CDNs, no chat widgets, no scheduling tools, and no payment processors loaded on this website. Nothing on this site causes your browser to make requests to companies other than our hosting infrastructure.
Hosting and Server Logs
Accountive does not retain access logs from accountive.ca. Our hosting provider and upstream network providers may keep standard server logs as part of normal infrastructure operation; their data handling is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not access, analyze, or use those logs.
Future Changes to Data Collection
If we add new ways of collecting personal information beyond what is described above — for example, an account system, scheduling tools, or third-party integrations — we will clearly disclose this at the point of collection and update this policy accordingly. We will not begin collecting personal information silently.
Canadian Privacy Law
Accountive is a Canadian company operating under the laws of New Brunswick, Canada. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If we hold any personal information about you, you have the right to access it, correct it, or request its deletion by contacting us.
Communications
We will not send marketing or promotional emails without your express consent, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you contact us directly, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiry — it will not be added to any list.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Substantive changes will be summarized at the top of the policy.
